Technical Team Lead

Responsibilities:

  • Understanding of the application development life cycle and ability to apply it to existing and future application development.

  • Hands on development of application set. Management / leadership of day to day development and support of applications.

  • Apply technical expertise to understand applications and develop plans to continuously improve application portfolio. Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities to cross-functional project team members.

  • Oversee application development of existing and future application according to Bright Horizons standards.

  • Ensure that application projects are prepared (including all pre- and post-development steps) based on timeframe, quantity and mix to achieve the best possible return from development and project resources and ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process.

  • Ensure that software development schedule and timeline is in alignment with business and implementation goals and requirements and make adjustments to meet business goals when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or five years experience software applications development.

  • Experience must include five years each of the following: systems deployment; Microsoft SQL Server environment with SSIS, SSRS, stored procedure development,

  • BI Reporting tool and visualizations; SQL queries; database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework; data warehouse design including dimensional modeling; design, build, test, and maintain on-premises data structures such as data marts and data warehouses; Informatica ETL Data Integration and Application Integration Services.

  • Experience must include two years Azure Cloud and Informatica Cloud platform and services.

  • Experience may be gained concurrently.

The annual salary for this position is between $178,200 - $183,200 annually. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
