Description of Work  | The Technology Programs Associate provides tier 1 and specialized hardware and software support for College of Law faculty, staff and students. Minimum Required Qualifications  | Associate’s degree in a technology or computing-related field and at least six (6) months of hands-on experience providing IT support and at least one year of experience working in any role which involves customer service. Additional years of relevant experience or completed relevant education may substitute for required education/experience on a year-for-year basis. Proficient use of Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; education/experience considered. Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity practices and artificial intelligence. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, utilizing an understanding of technical principles that align with University policies. Knowledge and experience of various computer architectures and their respective operating systems.
Preferred Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in a technology or computing-related field. Two years of hands-on experience providing IT support including direct user support. Two years of experience administering and supporting Windows and MacOS operating systems. Experience with wired and wireless IP-based networking. Experience with SCCM, Active Directory, and Group Policies, and with JAMF or using macOS in a domain-joined environment. Experience with client management tools. Knowledge of IT security best practices, user security, and cloud storage services. CompTIA A+, HDI DST, and OEM hardware repair certifications (HP, Apple, Dell) are desirable.
