| Pay Range Information | Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage. |
| Job Description Summary | The Employee Relations Specialist supports Employee Relations. The position supports an array of functions including but not limited to Employee Relations Conflict Resolutions and investigations, Performance Management documentation as well as knowledge of Title VII/Title IX/Harassment and Discrimination Investigations. As an experienced professional with a comprehensive understanding of employee relations, the Employee Relations Specialist resolves a variety of complex and sensitive employee relations issues, advising and counseling client groups to resolve questions, concerns, and complaints. The Employee Relations Specialist will be collaborative and approachable and embrace Chapman’s mission and culture. The desired candidate is respectful, hands-on, flexible and adaptable, knowledgeable, and operates with the highest principles of integrity and confidentiality. This is a temporary position covering a leave of absence until approximately August, 2026. |
