Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education | Bachelor’s degree preferred 2-3 years of experience in financial aid, student services, customer service, or a related field. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal). Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial aid systems (Banner) is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Focused mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.

Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position | Provides front-line support and processes financial aid documents to ensure timely, accurate service and compliance with all regulations. Key responsibilities…
Customer Support Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and Zoom. Guide students and families on aid processes, forms, and eligibility. Assist with understanding awards and completing requirements. Refer complex issues as needed.
Processing Review and process FAFSA, verification, appeals, and loan documents. Verify completeness and accuracy of submissions. Track files for timely aid packaging and disbursement. Resolve discrepancies between submitted documents and FAFSA data.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit | The primary purpose of the Office of Student Financial Aid is to administer financial aid in a professional and compassionate manner to students and other customers while assuring the University’s compliance with Federal, State and Institutional regulations. The office is also responsible for reconciling programs, conducting workshops, ensuring compliance with athletic aid as well as other responsibilities.
Work Hours | Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m (Remote Flexible)
