Primary Purpose of Position
Primary purpose of the position is to undertake activities that improve student academic, social and emotional development. This includes managing, promoting, and leading activities in areas of recruitment, admissions, orientation, registration and retention of student.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
North Carolina A & T State University is a public land grant high research activity institution that is committed to dedicated teaching and learning, scholarly and creative research, and effective engagement and public service. The University enrolls approximately 13,487students.
 
 The College of Engineering, with over 2,402 students, has EAC ABET accredited undergraduate programs in Architectural, Bio-, Biological, Civil, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering, as well as a CAC ABET-accredited program in Computer Science. At the Graduate level, the College has 8 Master’s of Science Degree programs, and 5 Doctoral programs. 

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is one of the largest departments in the College of Engineering. The four programs are a BS in electrical engineering, a BS in computer engineering, an MS in electrical engineering, and a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. Work Hours 8-5pm Monday-Friday with some occasional nights and weekends
