Primary Purpose of Position
Provide comprehensive administrative and student‑focused support to ensure efficient departmental operations. This role serves as a primary point of contact for students, assisting with inquiries, scheduling, records management, and coordination of academic processes, while also supporting faculty and leadership with day‑to‑day administrative tasks, communication, and organizational needs.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit
The Department of Computational Data Science and Engineering (CDSE) is responsible for educating and training graduate students in advanced computational, data science, and engineering methodologies, while advancing interdisciplinary research that applies data‑driven and computational approaches to complex problems in science, engineering, and society. The department prepares students for professional and research careers through rigorous coursework, hands‑on research, and the development of computational thinking, data analytics, and engineering solutions.
Work Hours Mon-Fri 8-5pm
