Description
Performance Systems Development (PSD) is seeking a(n) TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR to provide administrative, LMS dashboard and training support, and curriculum development support to the utility trade ally network program while working closely with the Energy Code Services and Training and Development Teams along with other projects as assigned. They will provide administrative support for the project training needs and develop content through the Learning Management System as it integrates with a CRM and portal.
As a(n) TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR , you will:
- Manage training events: Coordinate with subject matter experts, training providers, client programs, implementation vendors, and marketing staff to schedule new events and work with the T&D and trade ally network teams to ensure training is listed correctly in database and learning management system, included in marketing emails, and posted on calendars and websites. Ensures all courses have documents containing, course title, course description, learning objectives, registration surveys, poll and quiz questions, and evaluation surveys with documentation saved in well-organized SharePoint folders.
- Develop Curriculum: Liaise with graphic design and marketing staff to ensure client branding specifications, and to request specific images, graphics, and other visual aids to improve audience engagement. Ensure course development support work meets internal and program specific specifications and meets development deadlines. Formats course slides in accordance with predetermined guidelines.
- Converts training materials into asynchronous course format using a course authoring tool. Performs formatting of other course materials, such as handouts. Converts files into PDF handouts with appropriate headers and footers.
- ? Collaboratively Manage Reporting: Work with Program Process Coordinators to maintain knowledge of client reporting requirements and ensure accuracy. Exports and manages attendance lists. Formats attendance for upload to internal and client databases. Use automation features to determine attendance requirements for continuing education and reports to certifying organizations and clients. Issues certificates of attendance.
- Perform Customer service: Field customer inquiries re: event registration and login, and inquiries re: continuing education and certificates. Work with implementation vendors, client program managers, training providers to schedule and develop online, live and recorded training and related materials.
- Maintain meetings and SOPs: Creates and maintains standard operation procedure documents with descriptions of processes. Supports SMEs, T&D manager, and program process coordinators in documentation. Maintains marketing and training agendas. And moderates meetings and ensure all parties follow up on action items.
This position reports to the Director of Program Delivery and plays a key role in helping PSD meet the training and development needs of special projects in NYS that involve working with a Learning Management System and its integrations, and standing up live, remote and online trainings with multiple training providers and programs.

What You Bring
- Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience: Four years of customer service and demonstrated excellence in the role of Training Coordinator, Trainer or Teacher.
- Experience with working within a Learning Management System (LMS) to upload trainings and materials and develop dashboards. Strong preference for experience with Absorb LMS.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Experience integrating LMS with HubSpot/CRM a plus.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other reporting tool a plus.

- Work Environment: Office work performed in a collaborative environment with a high degree of independence.
- Travel Requirements: Some travel may be required to pre-scheduled events.
