ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Talent Development & Learning Specialist plays a key role in advancing Tepa’s employee growth strategies by supporting the coordination and delivery of targeted development programs. This role partners with business leaders to implement talent planning initiatives, strengthen career growth, and facilitate meaningful learning experiences. In addition, the Specialist supports technical and compliance training, employee onboarding, and learning system upkeep to ensure scalable, high-impact development across the company.
Job Functions:
- Lead Talent Development Plan (TDP) meetings to track progress, document outcomes, and support individual growth strategies.
- Help design and facilitate programs that build internal bench strength and develop future leaders.
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to align performance management practices, define role-based competency models, and strengthen succession planning efforts.
- Coordinate and facilitate development programs such as mentoring, internships, and the recent graduate rotational program.
- Support the employee performance management process, educating stakeholders on timelines, tools, and expectations.
- Create and maintain development resources, including job aids and workshops aligned to technical and soft skills.
- Develop, implement, and improve tools that reinforce employee growth and manager enablement across departments.
- Support onboarding and compliance training initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accessibility across formats.
- Support training execution and logistics, including LMS upkeep, training calendars, and cross-functional coordination.
- Monitor participation and impact metrics of programs, using insights to evaluate outcomes and inform future planning.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in talent development, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, or related field
- Experience supporting performance management, career pathing, and employee development initiatives
- Familiarity with onboarding, compliance training, and LMS administration
- Strong facilitation skills across in-person, virtual, and blended learning formats
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, subject-matter experts, and business leaders
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with learning platforms or LMS tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, engaging learning materials
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements
- Adaptable, collaborative, and proactive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
