The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, building, and delivering learning that improves patient outcomes, clinic performance, and employee experience, advancing the organization’s mission to expand access to transformative care.
 
Essential Functions
  • Instructional design: Applies Backward Design/ADDIE, Bloom’s taxonomy, and evidence-based methods to create role-based learning for clinicians, clinic managers, front office, and leaders.
  • Content development: Produces eLearning (Articulate Rise/Storyline), microlearning, facilitator guides, job aids, and short videos.
  • New Hire Orientation (NEO) ownership: Leads the end-to-end NEO program for all employees—plans, schedules, facilitates, and continuously improves the experience.
  • Front Office training co-ownership: Co-owns Front Office training end-to-end, planning, facilitation, and continuous improvement.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Partners with Clinical and Front Office Operations to continuously improve training programs through needs analysis and feedback loops.
  • Facilitation: Delivers virtual/in-person training for all employees.
  • Project management: Manages timelines in Asana, runs stand-ups/checkpoints, communicates risks/decisions, and delivers on time with quality.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent facilitation skills.
  • Developing knowledge of Backward Design/ADDIE and Bloom’s Taxonomy.
  • Functional knowledge of Articulate Rise, Learning Management Systems, and Asana (or comparable PM tool).
  • Strong writing and visual design skills.
  • Proficient in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Data-curious and outcome-oriented; connects learning to adoption and clinic performance.

Required Credentials
  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Human Resources, Psychology, or a similar Degree.
  • 2+ years in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, and facilitation, or related field
