We are seeking a Training Content Specialist II to help us fulfill that mission. The Training Content Specialist creates and implements internal and client-facing training materials, including but not limited to documents, PowerPoints, and interactive video tutorials that support ACT’s full suite of products. This role facilitates the development of strategic design and content best practices for improving and implementing learning-focused solutions.
The finalist will be hired at the salary and level commensurate with their qualifications. For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $70,000. ACT manages salaries within the range based on relevant factors including, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Location: This is a Remote position, based in the United States.

What you will be working on:
- Research, design, and manage the production of training materials using various multi-media channels
- Manage and track training requests and job progress through the Salesforce workflow
- Manage the webcast and virtual event platform used to deliver large-scale customer training
- Develop standardized content that ensures adaptability and scalability to deliver custom training solutions; work with key stakeholders on meeting these custom needs, particularly for State and District customers
- Manage internal and external placement of client-facing training and support materials to meet complex audience consumption needs
- Research and implement innovative approaches for creating engaging learning resources
- Collect and analyze training satisfaction data; use data to inform and drive change
- Record Simu-live and Sim-2-Live webinars using AI software or live audio
This could be the job for you if you have (Minimum Requirements):
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience required, which includes the development of training materials and working with various training methodologies, learning tools, and practices
- Proficiency in Adobe Captivate video editing software (Audacity/Adobe Premiere Pro), and Photoshop
- Experience working collaboratively as part of a team to create training content with a focus on the end user experience required
- Experience creating customer-focused solutions and/or experience serving customers in the education industry preferred
- Experience in a consultative or advisory role preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a strong knowledge of graphic design and visual presentation
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills to allow for the handling of multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to turn around high volume of work with focus on quality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Salesforce
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within teams and across the organization
- Ability to learn and maintain detailed knowledge of products and services
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in education, instructional design, graphic design, or communications or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
It’s a Plus if you have:
- Proficiency in Abode InDesign to assist with graphics production
- Use of AI tools in building training materials
- Powtoon, Biteable of other animation software programs
- Knowledgeable of proficient in WCAG 2.2 (AA) accessibility requirements and how to make resources accessible
