 JOB SUMMARY
The Training Specialist plays an important role in strengthening our learning culture at World Emblem. This position supports the creation, coordination, and delivery of training programs that help employees perform effectively, understand their roles, and grow within the company. A key part of this role is supporting the rollout of World Emblem’s Development Path process, ensuring every employee has a clear view of their career progression, skill expectations, and development opportunities. The Training Specialist will collaborate with leaders at every level—frontline supervisors, managers, and senior leadership—to align learning initiatives with business needs and create consistency in how we develop and grow our people. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and deliver training programs that support onboarding, job skills, competencies and professional development.
  • Partner with Organizational Development Group and department leaders to align training with goals identified through the Development Path and Performance Review processes.
  • Help build and maintain World Emblem’s learning library in the ADP LMS (e-learning, classroom, and blended formats).
  • Translate Development Path frameworks into practical learning plans, and progression tools for employees and supervisors.
  • Coordinate and track employee progress against required training and development milestones.
  • Create and update clear, visual, easy-to-understand training materials and job aids.
  • Conduct post-training follow-ups to measure effectiveness and gather feedback for improvement.
  • Support managers and supervisors by providing coaching on how to deliver consistent on-the-job training.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure all programs are documented and accessible.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the talent team at World Emblem. 

QUALIFICATIONS 
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills; able to engage audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a collaborative mindset.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

 SKILLS
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (ADP Workforce Now, or similiar).
  • Ability to design simple, visual learning content (slides, checklists, or microlearning).
  • Familiarity with standard work, process documentation, or Lean/continuous improvement concepts but not required.

EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in training, learning & development, or HR, ideally in a manufacturing or multi-site environment.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Occasional travel to other U.S. sites (up to 20–25%).
  • Balance of time in office and on production floors when facilitating or observing training.
