In this role you will:
A Training Director at Actabl plays a pivotal role in empowering our customers to maximize the value of our products. Leads the charge in creating dynamic training content, curating resources, and designing innovative programs. Responsible for collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure seamless adoption and proficiency. Possessing a passion for continuous learning and your ability to drive change will be instrumental in shaping our customers’ success journey. 

Typical Functions:
Content Development and Curation:
  • Lead the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of training materials, including tutorials, guides, and online modules.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accurate and up-to-date content.
  • Tailor content to match individual needs, roles, and responsibilities.

Training Program Design and Delivery:
  • Develop a comprehensive training strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
  • Design and implement effective training programs for our customers, considering different modalities (e.g., instructor-led, self-paced, virtual).
  • Ensure scalability by minimizing instructor-led training for end users while maintaining interactivity and hands-on activities.
  • Oversee training sessions, workshops, and webinars, ensuring high-quality delivery and engagement.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer support, and product development.
  • Work with project managers, trainers, and evangelists to ensure seamless training experiences.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve training offerings.

Measurement and Evaluation:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for training effectiveness.
  • Regularly assess training outcomes, gather feedback, and adjust content and delivery methods accordingly.
  • Use data-driven insights to enhance training programs and address any gaps.

Change Management and Adoption:
  • Support organizational change related to adoption by providing targeted training.
  • Empower project managers and end users to effectively use Actabl products.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and skill development.

Stay Current with Industry Trends:
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and webinars to enhance expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Proven experience designing and leading training programs. 
  • Proven experience in technical writing. 
  • Must have strong knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams), Learning Management Systems, as well as understanding of eLearning course author tools and graphic technologies.
  • Proven experience with curriculum development, delivery methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, engagement, and project management skills.
  • Strong consultative skills and ability to make persuasive recommendations based on business rationale.
  • Data driven - Possesses the ability to draw insights using data and to make meaningful business recommendations.
  • Ability to work in and manage ambiguity, including dealing effectively with issues that do not always have a process, system, or solution in place.
