Position Overview 
We are seeking a highly qualified Trainer Lead to lead development and delivery efforts of comprehensive operator and maintainer training for the Poland FMS ASRR Aerostat program. This senior-level role includes responsibility for instructional development, classroom and field training execution, and direct interaction with Polish Armed Forces (PAF) personnel in both CONUS and OCONUS environments. Candidates should have a strong background in technical training, TRADOC-aligned courseware development, and international military collaboration. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead classroom and field instruction for Aerostat system operations and maintenance, including launch/recovery, surveillance procedures, and sustainment tasks in CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Develop, update, and deliver Training Support Packages (TSPs), Programs of Instruction (POIs), lesson plans, practical exercises, and evaluations aligned with TRADOC Pamphlet 350-70-14
  • Deliver Train-the-Trainer (T3), operator certification, and maintenance qualification courses
  • Train foreign military personnel on system operations and maintenance including ground and airborne electronics, generators, winches, lifts, and hydraulic/electrical subsystems
  • Coordinate with SMEs, Field Service Representatives (FSRs), and government stakeholders to ensure technical accuracy and mission alignment
  • Contribute to training documentation updates, best practice guides, and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) deliverables
  • Conduct classroom and practical instruction in both CONUS and deployed settings, with a focus on knowledge transfer and partner nation self-sufficiency
 
 Required Qualifications 
  • 5+ years of military or defense system training experience (operator and/or maintainer roles)
  • Certified instructor (e.g., Army Basic Instructor Course or equivalent industry-approved certification)
  • Proficiency in development aspects of Office 365, Adobe Creative tools, and learning content management systems
  • Design and assist in the development of Adobe Captivate-based e-learning content to supplement classroom and field instruction
  • Deep familiarity with TRADOC instructional standards, lesson plan development, and courseware lifecycle
  • Familiarity with technical manuals, maintenance allocation charts, and DoD instructional practices
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, or C5ISR systems in a training or support capacity
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to lead training in cross-cultural, multinational settings
 
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Experience with Aerostat platforms, ground control systems, or C5ISR technologies
  • Previous experience delivering training in OCONUS or FMS program environments
  • Familiarity with IETMs, S1000D, or MIL-STD technical data development
  • Prior work with NATO standards, Polish MoD, or international defense cooperation
  • Polish language proficiency or prior experience working with international military audiences
 
Other Requirements 
  • Willingness to travel including extended assignments in Poland
  • Physical ability to support hands-on training and lift equipment in field settings
  • Ability to meet Army Conus Replacement Center (CRC) MOD-17 medical requirements for deployment.
