Comprising more than 130 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise across program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life‑cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy’s Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems, Maritime and Munitions, as well as clients at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, and the Office of Naval Research.#FC

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Training Specialist to support NAVSEA / Portfolio Acquisition Executive Maritime. This is a Hybrid position in the Washington, DC area.

Anticipated tasking includes:

  • Trains individuals, small groups, and large groups to follow standards, establish processes and products, develop workforce competency in organizing and presenting information, and using digital tools.
  • Develop new training curriculum and materials.
  • Identify and assess training needs that arise from changes to processes and equipment, and determine most appropriate training method.
  • Coordinate training provided by other Navy organizations.
  • Review and evaluate training programs for compliance with government standards and regulations.
 
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance during the time of employment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least five (5) years of relevant experience
  • Reports to Washington Navy Yard, up to 25% of the time, based upon the needs of the client

Desired Qualifications: 
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance, and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
  • Master's degree
  • At least seven (7) years of relevant experience
