Salary: $70K/yr + 3% annual bonus (based on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 8am-5pm (Monday – Friday)
Location: 100% Remote

A Training Specialist is responsible for organizing and delivering training programs that support employee development and align with company goals. This role involves conducting training needs assessments, designing instructional materials, and managing training and logistics.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Training Needs Assessment & Planning
- Conduct training needs assessments through employee surveys, performance data analysis, and structured collaboration with department leaders.
- Identify skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization, then translate findings into actionable training plans.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an annual training calendar aligned with company goals and compliance requirements.
- Curriculum Development & Content Management
- Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials including facilitator guides, learner workbooks, job aids, and eLearning modules.
- Implement training courses and materials in both in-person and online delivery formats, ensuring consistency across all mediums.
- Regularly review and update training content to reflect current standards, procedures, and organizational changes.
- Training Logistics & Administration
- Schedule and coordinate on-the-job training sessions, manage room bookings, instructor assignments, and participant communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all training activities, completions, certifications, and attendance in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Manage training materials inventory, ordering, and distribution as needed.
- Onboarding & Compliance Training
- Facilitate structured onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a consistent and positive introduction to company culture, systems, and role expectations.
- Coordinate and deliver required compliance training (safety, regulatory, organizational policy) and track completion to meet all mandated deadlines.
- Partner with HR and department managers to integrate onboarding training with broader employee orientation workflows.
- Training Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate training effectiveness using participant feedback surveys, assessment scores, performance observations, and post-training follow-up.
- Analyze training outcomes and present findings to training leadership with recommendations for content or process improvements.
- Implement updates to training materials and delivery approaches based on evaluation data and stakeholder input.
Required Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated relevant experience will be considered.
- Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in training coordination, instructional design, facilitation, or a related learning and development role.
- Hands-on experience designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs in a corporate or technical environment.
- Prior experience supporting onboarding programs or compliance training is strongly preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and learning styles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly convey technical and procedural training content to varied audiences.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent training initiatives.
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and familiarity with corporate eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) is a plus.
- Comfort with data — able to interpret training metrics and present evaluation results in a clear, actionable format.
- Ability to build rapport and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment with employees at all levels.

Compensation & Benefits Disclosure
The salary rate for this role is $70,000 per year. This range reflects a good‑faith estimate of what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire, based on factors such as skills, experience, education, and market/location. Our comprehensive benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, Health Savings Account (HSA), gym discount, mental health, Discounted Group Life & AD&D, Discounted Group Short & Long-term Disability, 401(k) retirement matching, PTO/paid holidays, and parental leave. This posted salary rate is the final rate of pay for the position, based on job‑related factors consistent with applicable law.
