Great West Casualty Company is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in driving employee growth and development through engaging, high-quality learning solutions. You'll be instrumental in aligning training initiatives with company goals while supporting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities;
  • Lead the full training cycle: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs.
  • Apply advanced adult learning theory to develop practical, results-driven training strategies.
  • Partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts to assess needs and create customized training experiences.
  • Design and deliver learning solutions including instructor-led training (in-person and virtual), on-the-job training, blended learning, and e-learning modules.
  • Develop instructional materials such as manuals, guides, job aids, and interactive content.
  • Deliver onboarding and professional skills workshops focused on public speaking, communication, and other business competencies.
 
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in adult education, instructional design, and training delivery.
  • Strong understanding of learning methodologies and tools (e.g., e-learning software, LMS platforms).
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience developing training programs for a corporate environment, ideally in insurance or a related industry.
