We are looking for a Training Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Moline, Illinois. This role involves developing and delivering comprehensive training programs for financial services systems and solutions, ensuring employees are well-equipped to utilize core technologies effectively. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create impactful learning materials and facilitate engaging training sessions.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver training programs for financial services systems, including teller systems, account opening platforms, online banking tools, and document archiving solutions.
• Attend project meetings and vendor sessions to gain in-depth knowledge of core solutions and translate this knowledge into effective training materials.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify training needs and ensure content aligns with organizational goals.
• Create high-quality training resources, including manuals and guides, while adhering to company style guidelines.
• Plan and execute virtual and in-person training sessions for employees, accommodating group sizes ranging from 30 to 100 participants.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions to prepare organizational trainers for upcoming system conversions.
• Support employees during system transitions by providing ongoing development and troubleshooting assistance.
• Utilize software tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint to create and deliver training materials.
• Travel onsite for specific training events during system conversions, as required.
• Collaborate with team members to share ideas, improve training strategies, and ensure consistent delivery across the organization.
Requirements
• Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proficiency in software tools including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, and PowerPoint.
• Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking in front of diverse audiences.
• Ability to work closely with subject matter experts to gather information and translate it into practical training materials.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and other financial technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create clear and engaging training content.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for onsite training sessions during system conversions.
