The opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing applicant eligibility for admission and evaluating all forms of prior learning, including transfer credit, course waivers, alternative credit, military training, and nontraditional learning for applicants to undergraduate and graduate programs. You will apply university policies, accreditation standards, academic requirements, and established transfer credit practices to make informed admission and credit-award decisions that directly impact student academic pathways, using critical thinking and attention to detail to ensure accurate transfer credit assessments are completed within 24-48 hours of receipt of materials. This role reports to an Enrollment Support Services Team Lead.

What you’ll do
  • Review applicant records and determine admission eligibility through application of university admission requirements, accreditation standards, and institutional policies
  • Evaluate and authorize transfer credit through analysis of academic records, established equivalencies, university policies, and prior learning standards, reviewing both standard and non-standard transfer scenarios
  • Handle admission processing, tracking, and document digitizing in the CRM and student information system (SIS)
  • Complete admission and transfer credit evaluations within established service level expectations while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of student academic records through consistent application of university policies and transfer credit standards
  • Meet the department goal of less than 2% error rate for transfer credit evaluation processing and entry
  • Collaborate with internal partners to resolve admission, transfer credit, and academic record questions
  • Assist with commencement ceremonies and reception events
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What we’re looking for
  • One or more years of transfer credit evaluation and prior learning assessment experience in higher education, or equivalent administrative experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $36,292.00 - $58,078.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. This position is expected to be hired in the target hiring range of $40,102.00 - $54,256.00.
