We are seeking an experienced Transitional Kindergarten (TK) English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) Specialist to review and provide feedback on the development of a comprehensive teacher-facing TK ELA/ELD course. Conduct thorough reviews of course content, modules, and learning activities to ensure alignment with California's PTKLF standards.
Assess the developmental appropriateness of instructional strategies and pedagogical approaches for TK learners.
Provide detailed, actionable feedback on course materials that will be implemented by content writers.

Content Expertise and Consultation
Serve as a subject matter expert on TK literacy development, early reading and writing skills, oral language development, and phonological awareness.
Advise on best practices for supporting English Learners in the TK setting, including integrated and designated ELD strategies.
Ensure cultural and linguistic responsiveness throughout course materials.
Recommend evidence-based instructional practices and current research in early literacy education.
