| Job Summary/Basic Function | As a Peer Writing Tutor, you will serve as a collaborative mentor to students across all academic disciplines. Rather than acting as an editor, you will empower writers to improve their craft at every stage of the writing process—from initial brainstorming and outlining to final polishing. This role requires a balance of strong communication skills, empathy for diverse learner backgrounds, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth. The Writing Center serves a wide range of writers, so applicants from every major and students with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Basic Job Function
