Compensation for this position is expected to be $70,304.00 per year, in alignment with what California Baptist University (CBU) reasonably anticipates paying for this role. The final rate may vary depending on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and prevailing market conditions. | Summary | Develop, implement, and manage the admission recruitment program for the traditional undergraduate program designed to attract the best possible pool of candidates in support of the school’s enrollment objectives. Designs and coordinates admissions outreach services and associated events. Establishes and delivers a wide range of advisement and liaison services. Participates in or oversees the evaluation of applicant files for admissions. |

| Essential Duties and Responsibilities | include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Recruits new students in the United States with an emphasis in California. 2. Travel to, from, and within assigned recruiting territories, understanding that the length of trips may vary. 3. Visit high school campuses, community colleges, churches, youth camps, and affiliate association and state youth events. 4. Plan, arrange, and implements a personal recruitment schedule. 5. Advises students and families regarding educational opportunities and options, admission and other requirements, policies and procedures, transfer of credit, and financial assistance, as appropriate. 6. Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates programs, special projects and events, and other initiatives geared to recruiting students within targeted populations and facilitating admission into the undergraduate programs at California Baptist University. 7. Analyzes trends in student recruitment and retention programs and participates in the establishment and implementation of recruitment and retention strategies, resources, policies, and procedures. 8. Gives presentations for and in various settings such as parent nights in high schools or churches, community colleges, community groups, on-campus informational meetings, and other public audiences. 9. Assists with creating and distributing a range of resources and promotional materials designed for the recruitment and retention of students in targeted groups. 10. Reviews individual applications and evaluates candidates for admission eligibility; troubleshoots applications with problems and oversees and/or coordinates communications with applicants. 11. Maintains communication via telephone, correspondence, and/or electronic mail with prospective students through all stages of the recruitment, admission, and enrollment process. 12. Keep accurate records of recruiting activities and contacts. 13. Assist with other student service projects and events as requested. 14. Achieves aggressive monthly recruiting goals. 15. Interacts regularly with CBU’s enrollment leadership team to develop recruiting strategies and partnerships. 16. The position will require evening and weekend work and travel. A valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and reliable transportation are required. |

| Education and/or Experience | Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university required. One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of additional education, experience and/or training. |
