Develop and maintain user interface standards to be used within the Content Management System (CMS), directs user testing, and QAs new releases. Manages the creation and maintenance of style guidelines, user guides, technical requirements documentation, and any documentation related to the user interface, web design and brand, and user experience. 

1. Develop, manage and improve web design for mobile and web, targeting user experience and engagement. 
2. Lead and conduct requirements gathering, analysis, competitive research, and usability testing. 
3. Work with Director to analyze data, conduct testing and optimize user flow. 
4. Create and refine the user-experience including content analysis and strategy, site maps, wireframes, flow diagrams, and user-requirements documents. 
5. Facilitate design and feedback sessions with varying audiences and synthesize results into a cohesive set of recommendations and best representation of inputs. 
6. Serves as the liaison with the IT department to define scope of projects and establish requirements for back-end development teams, to ensure the full user experience can be implemented. 
7. Stay abreast of latest technologies and trends and make recommendations for upgrades for the Division. 8. May provide directions to front-end developers, collaborate with developers/designers and provide critical feedback to ensure consistency and quality of design deliverables. 
9. Develop and present to University marketing community on UI/UX subject matter. 
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. 

MQ: 
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of Seven (7) years of directly job-related experience. Minimum 2 years managing direct reports.
