Responsibilities:
Essential Functions Include (but are not limited to): 
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive learning strategy that addresses current and future workforce needs, including identifying critical skills gaps. 
  • Collaborates with leadership to define and align learning initiatives with talent development and business objectives.
  • Optimizes Learning Management Systems (Aspire) to expand digital learning capabilities and virtual instructor-led training.
  • Oversees the development of new curriculum and instructional design of courses.
  • Establishes metrics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback, performance metrics and data analytics. Tracks learner progress and makes data-driven improvements to training initiatives. 
  • Provides reporting and insights to executive leadership.
  • Supports company growth during acquisitions by completing due diligence, developing the learning and development plan and timeline, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Builds, develops and leads a high-performing team of training professionals.
  • Creates leadership development pathways to support internal promotion and succession planning.
  • Maintains significant understanding of industry topics, issues, or news involving markets.
  • Creates and manages the Learning & Development budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources across different training programs.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Organizational Development, Real Estate or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a Sr. Leadership Role in Learning and Development.
  • Proficiency in Property Management Systems (Yardi, Yieldstar, CRM IQ).
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning theory and learning technology platforms.
  • Direct experience and strong working knowledge of the apartment management industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing, OSHA, Compliance requirements relevant to the multifamily housing industry.
  • Professional certification in Learning & Development (CPTD, SHRM-SCP) or Property Management (CAM, CAPS) a plus.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements: 
  • Must have normal range of vision, hearing, and speech.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods and working on a computer.
  • Able to travel up to 30% and with little advance notice
