We are seeking a Vice President of Data Strategy and Insights. In this role, you will join an organization with a unique product set that revolutionizes training and learning management, continuing education (CE), compliance, workforce scheduling, safety management, and more. You will play a pivotal role in realizing this mission by leveraging innovative data strategies to drive revenue, growth, and industry expertise. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Collaborate with education, commercial, and public safety sector leaders to understand, develop, and execute sector-specific usage and efficacy data strategies to drive revenue growth. 
  • Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to create value propositions based on data-driven insights to maximize business outcomes. 
  • Lead the operationalization of data to derive company-wide actionable insights, adoption, and usage.  
  • Identify and address key data gaps, providing strategic remediation options aligned to business goals. 
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to formulate new data capabilities and strategies that drive continuous improvement and market differentiation. 
  • Utilize cutting-edge data presentation methods and visualization tools to provide customers with actionable insights into product usage and training efficacy. 
  • Present data strategies and progress to the executive leadership team for each sector, providing updates on key initiatives, timelines, and expected returns on investment. 
  • Communicate effectively with executives, translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights. 
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and innovations in data utilization, implementing continuous improvement strategies to keep Vector Solutions at the forefront of the industry. 
  • Conduct regular assessments of data initiatives, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement. 

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data strategy and implementation within a B2B SaaS organization, with a focus on driving business outcomes. 
  • Masters in business administration or similar field of study  
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively across verticals and with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proven track record in developing and executing data strategies in diverse verticals. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance regulations related to data privacy, ensuring safeguards are in place for customer data. 
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles. 
  • Familiarity with data management tools, analytics platforms, and relevant technologies relevant. 
  • Demonstrated experience in driving data initiatives from strategy development to implementation. 
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on driving growth and revenue through effective data utilization.
