The Marketing Channels team sits within the Marketing & Operations teams. The team is responsible for the development and execution of a comprehensive channel and creative strategy across all distribution channels (including traditional, digital, field and organic). The team focuses on both short-term performance and long-term innovation and driving the evolution of channel marketing capabilities to meet future market demands.  

Job Summary 
The Vice President of Digital Experience will lead the strategy and execution of our conversion optimization, SEO, and web performance efforts to fuel lead acquisition and conversion. This leader will be responsible for delivering seamless user experiences across a vast digital portfolio—including 100+ websites and 1,000+ landing pages. This role requires a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of marketing, technology, UI, and analytics. They will also be responsible for evaluating and integrating emerging technologies—including AI and automation tools—to future-proof our digital ecosystem and unlock new opportunities for scale, efficiency, and personalization. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Digital Experience & Conversion Strategy 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive web channel marketing strategy focused on student acquisition and lead conversion. This includes SEO, UX/UI, and Conversion. 
  • Oversee the performance and optimization of websites, landing pages, and client-branded digital assets to increase conversion rates and improve business outcomes. 
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure unified student engagement and consistency. 
  • Drive initiatives that enhance website performance and elevate the digital customer journey. 
  • Partner with the Paid Media, Product Marketing, and Email Automation teams to champion a student-centric digital approach across all touchpoints, ensuring a best-in-class experience for prospects and students alike. 
Innovation and Technology:  
  • Drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies—including AI and automation tools—that enhance user engagement, personalization, and digital performance. 
  • Lead the evolution of our digital marketing and web tech stack in close collaboration with Technology and cross-functional teams, ensuring scalability and long-term business impact. 
  • Develop and execute a strategic mix of in-house and agency partnerships, overseeing selection, performance, and alignment with business goals. 
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, platform innovations, and consumer behaviors to continuously optimize the digital experience and maintain competitive advantage. 
  • Champion a future-forward digital marketing strategy, fostering a culture of experimentation, agility, and data-driven decision-making to lead in experience and conversion optimization. 
Team Leadership and Development: 
  • Talent Development: Invest in the professional growth of the Digital Experience marketing team, ensuring that they are equipped with both the skills for current needs and the foresight to manage future marketing technologies and strategies. 
  • Culture of Innovation: Foster a culture of continuous learning, experimentation, and agility within the marketing team. Encourage team members to stay on the cutting edge of marketing trends and technologies. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure that digital marketing team is well-integrated with the product, paid media, field, creative, sales, technology, and customer success teams to create a holistic, forward-thinking marketing ecosystem. 
Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting 
  • Next-Gen Analytics & Reporting: Drive the adoption of advanced analytics and reporting tools to guide optimization strategies and user experience improvements.  
  • Future-Focused KPIs: Establish KPIs not only focused on immediate performance but also on long-term trends, like lifetime value (LTV), partner growth, and digital transformation milestones. 
  • Partner with Business Technology and Analytics teams to ensure robust data infrastructure and accurate performance tracking.

Education Level 
Bachelor’s degree required 
MBA preferred 

Experience Level 
  • 10+ years of experience with web technologies, SEO, digital marketing, e-commerce, and web channel management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role in organizations larger than 2500 employees. 
  • Strategic leadership: Proven ability to drive digital strategy across SEO, CRO, and user journey optimization, using data to guide decisions and measure success. 
  • Deep knowledge of technical and content SEO, including keyword strategy, site structure, and performance tools like Google Search Console and SEMrush. 
  • Demonstrated ability to anticipate digital trends and rapidly implement innovative technologies—such as AI, automation, and personalization tools—to transform marketing strategies, drive performance, and stay ahead of the competition. 
  • Conversion optimization: Experience running A/B tests, analyzing user behavior, and improving funnel performance. 
  • Skilled in leading with UX/UI, content, and dev teams to build high-performing, responsive landing pages with personalization tactics. 
  • Strong track record managing teams and agencies, aligning creative, technical, and marketing functions for digital growth. Has led teams over over 50+ people. 
  • Advanced Data Analytics: Expertise in utilizing data and analytics to shape marketing strategies, with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
