About the Role:
The VP Product Capability will establish and lead product management, development, innovation, and lifecycle management for Corporate Markets' Audience Solutions portfolio of interwoven products serving both direct B2B corporate customers and B2B2C professional audiences. The role requires product vision, strategic thinking, technical background, and commercial focus to deliver customer experiences for a broad range of direct and indirect customers.

The position manages products across recruitment career centers, advertising, audience data infrastructure, lead generation, content marketing, B2B magazines and digital events, including ecommerce and SaaS capability. The role demands proven product management experience, global leadership capabilities, and product innovation expertise to lead a multi-functional international team responsible for products on a strong double-digit growth trajectory.

The VP Product Capability serves as the strategic hub for portfolio optimization, establishing performance thresholds for product lifecycle decisions, accelerating exits from low-yield initiatives, and scaling proven successes. The role balances entrepreneurial experimentation with operational discipline required for sustainable growth in innovation-driven markets.

How you will make an impact:
  • Lead Product Strategy & Innovation: Define and execute product vision, roadmap, and innovation initiatives across Corporate Markets’ diverse portfolio, leveraging Wiley’s intellectual property to drive new revenue streams.
  • Optimize Portfolio Performance: Establish lifecycle frameworks, performance metrics, and governance structures to prioritize high-impact opportunities, scale successes, and exit underperforming products.
  • Drive Product Development & Delivery: Oversee end-to-end development from ideation to launch across SaaS, ecommerce, digital events, and data platforms, translating complex client needs into actionable specifications.
  • Build & Empower Teams: Lead a global, multi-functional product team; foster talent development; and collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Technology, Revenue Operations, and AI Growth to ensure execution.
  • Advance Commercial Strategy & Operational Excellence: Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis, optimize go-to-market strategies, and implement scalable processes to enhance delivery speed, quality, and customer satisfaction.
