This position will assist the college Web Services team with designing, developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting the official College Web site using the College’s Content Management System and a variety of applications and programming languages.
Duties and Tasks:Take requests from NOVA departments to design, develop, and update the pages of the NOVA website using the content management system. Knowledge of SEO (search engine optimization). Ability to troubleshoot and optimize web pages for security and responsiveness. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Solution-oriented and high-level programming skills. Ability to pick up new technologies quickly. Ability to work well in a group and take direction.
