The Role:
The Web & Digital Designer will support the Creative and Marketing Departments in the development and maintenance of all web/digital needs for internal and external marketing initiatives. This position requires someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and design-driven. A passion for video, photography, web/digital and other artistic influences is desired as this role will involve building concepts, designs, and layouts using current and forward-trending ideas. This position requires a self-driven designer who is up for conceptual challenges within a fast-paced environment surrounded by a strong, supportive culture.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work with Creative Manager to execute designs for digital projects such as email, landing pages, and other web experiences
- Assist in creating digital marketing assets for social, email, web and other digital medium
- Customize Wordpress and Hubspot themes, manage and utilize plugins, and ensure seamless integration of PHP scripts when needed
- Design new web pages or content modules for our corporate websites
- Create and maintain various client, vendor and instructional pages
- Participate in the creative process of corporate and product branding
- Follow and create processes and procedures for required duties, as needed
- Maintain a consistent visual identity and implement branding guidelines both for internal and client projects
- Offer assistance with ad-hoc marketing collateral, as needed
Desired Attributes
- 3 to 5 years’ experience designing for web and digital projects
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in design-related fields, or demonstrated capabilities and experience
- High proficiency in WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma (or similar wire-framing tools)
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and project management skills
- Excellent multi-tasking skills with a team-player mentality
- Demonstrated contagious positive energy to influence, inspire, and drive results
- Proficiency in UI/UX design principles for both mobile and desktop experiences
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile optimization
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; familiarity with PHP
- Working knowledge of Hubspot, and Asana is a strong plus
- A strong portfolio will be heavily weighted during final consideration
