Work Schedule:
 | Flexible hours, up to 15/week. Tutoring Center is open 9 am – 8pm Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 2 pm Friday, 9 am – 1 pm Saturday.

 | $22.00

Job Summary:
 | Provide drop-in or private tutoring as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 | Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in the subject in which the person will tutor.Must be responsible, independent workers who maintain an on-time commitment.Must possess sensitivity to the needs of disadvantaged/at-risk students.Must possess sensitivity for students of all cultures and backgrounds.Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, how to tutor students with disabilities.  

 Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 | Previous teaching experience preferred, especially with high school or college level students.

 Essential Duties:
 | 1. Provide drop-in or private tutoring as assigned.2. Reinforce classroom instruction, encourage academic progress, and maintain an atmosphere conducive to learning. Maintain confidentiality regarding the students they serve.3. Maintain student records, timesheets, and other paperwork.4. Attend department meetings and training sessions. Participate in discussions regarding ways to better serve students.5. Refer students to the Senior Director of Academic Support Services, if appropriate.
