Highlights
Conduct interactive intake meetings to determine disability eligibility and coordinate reasonable accommodations for an assigned student caseload.
Review documentation under ADA, ADAAA, and Section 504 guidelines and maintain accurate case notes in the department's database system.
Partner with faculty and staff to implement accommodations and resolve access barriers in the classroom.
Support core office operations including final exam proctoring and administration for students with disabilities.
Represent the Office of Accessibility and Accommodation at Orientation, Open House, and Commencement events.
Lead or assist in developing new OAA initiatives and recommending process enhancements based on evaluation of current practices.
Engage with campus committees and partners to advocate for disability access and promote universal design.
Track emerging legal precedents, ADA compliance requirements, and assistive technologies in higher education disability services.
