As an Account Manager at Ascend Learning, you'll develop sales strategies and close business to achieve sales quotas and goals, working under the ExamFX brand, the nationwide leader for insurance and securities pre-licensing and continuing education courses.
You'll be responsible for managing and supporting client needs, including account expansion, upselling, solving problems, identifying risk, and maintaining a large client base within National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
This role works remote within the U.S., with CST or EST time zone preferred.
How You'll Spend Your Time
- Present, sell, and close business while addressing client objectives and pain points
- Proactively collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues while exceeding client expectations
- Build strategic road maps to drive positive outcomes and solutions to meet client needs
- Map client stakeholders, pinpointing champions, users, technical staff, and decision-makers
- Actively manage and nurture the sales pipeline with timely follow-ups and progress tracking
- Maintain and grow existing client relationships, including account reviews and utilization reporting
- Negotiate and finalize deals, provide customer guidance, and develop growth strategies based on market insights
- Develop and report on sales activity, forecasts, and market dynamics to management
- Conduct strategic reviews to align solutions with clients and stay informed on industry trends
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of sales account management experience within industry
- Strong negotiation skills for favorable client deals
- Adept written communication for sales documentation
- Strong analytical abilities for sales data interpretation and trend identification
- Up to 10% travel expected
The current full-time, annualized base pay hiring range for this role is $57,700.00-$82,500.00, and most regular, full-time employees are eligible to participate in an Ascend incentive bonus or sales plan.
