We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work across banking, receivables, and reporting functions. In addition to core accounting duties, the position includes daily reconciliation, third-party reporting, and supporting revenue recognition. Responsibilities
Cash & Banking Operations:
  • Monitor daily banking activity and apply incoming payments to open invoices in the company’s ERP system
  • Reconcile multiple bank accounts on a daily basis, ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepancies promptly
  • Maintain up-to-date records of cash balances and notify relevant stakeholders of any cash flow issues or exceptions
Third-Party Payment Processing:
  • Review and record payment receipt reports from external financing partners (e.g., student lenders), accurately allocating principal, interest, and fee components
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to resolve discrepancies in third-party payment reporting
Expense Management:
  • Administer and review employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policy
  • Process approved reimbursements in a timely manner and assist in employee communication regarding submissions and corrections
Reporting & Collaboration:
  • Assist Revenue Accountants in generating accurate, timely weekly enrollment reports used for revenue recognition and forecasting
  • Contribute to month-end close activities as needed, including journal entries and account reconciliations

Experience/Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail

Preferred:
  • Experience working with third-party payment processors or student loan organizations
  • Familiarity with bank reconciliation software or automation tools
  • Prior experience in an educational institution or finance environment involving enrollment and tuition payments
