Rutgers University is hiring an Accounting Assistant II for the Athletics Business Office. - Assist in general accounting and procurement (P2P) including vendor management, purchase orders, invoices, and credit card payments.
- Manage game contracts and non-conference guarantees within the Athletics Business Office.
- Coordinate contract processes with all necessary support groups from initiation to completion.
- Track and reconcile all payments related to contracts and procurements.
- Work within Rutgers Division of Intercollegiate Athletics supporting 24 sports programs competing at Division I level.
- Preferred experience with Excel, Oracle Cloud, procurement systems, and knowledge of NCAA policies and procedures.
- Required strong computer, oral, and written communication skills.
- Minimum qualification: Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferably in athletics business operations.
- Salary range: $52,602 to $76,975 annually, with offers based on qualifications, experience, and available funding.
- Position is full-time, nonexempt, benefits eligible, and may allow hybrid work arrangements subject to approval.
