This role manages university-wide compliance with state and institutional policies, prepares and analyzes consolidated financial statements and reports according to GAAP and other guidelines, and supports UFS leadership in achieving divisional and university objectives.

Highlights

  • Oversees preparation and analysis of the University’s consolidated, affiliated corporation, and component unit financial statements in accordance with GAAP, AICPA, GASB, NACUBO, CAS, and IRS guidelines.
  • Ensures compliance with state and institutional policies and procedures across the University.
  • Assists University Financial Services (UFS) leadership to meet division and university goals.
  • Supervisory responsibilities included.
  • Required proficiency in MS Windows, Excel, Word, SAP, accounting principles, and management skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required; accounting degree and CPA preferred.
  • Requires at least 7 years of related experience.
  • Salary range: $81,640-138,798 per year.
  • Position is full-time staff with a Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule.
  • Works within the Accounting & Financial Reporting Services department.

Job Summary  | Responsible for University wide compliance with state and institutional policies and procedures; preparation and analysis of the University’s consolidated, affiliated corporation and component unit financial statements and other reports in accordance with GAAP, AICPA, GASB, NACUBO, CAS and IRS guidelines. Assist UFS leadership to achieve goals and objectives of the division and the University.
