The University of South Carolina Beaufort (USCB) is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and dynamic Administrative Assistant to provide direct support to the Provost and the Office of Academic Affairs. This vital role keeps our academic departments running smoothly, ensuring excellence in organization, compliance, and service to faculty, staff, and students.

As a key member of the Academic Affairs team, you will: Manage day-to-day operations of the Office of Academic Affairs. Serve as the first point of contact, directing inquiries and providing informed responses on academic policies and procedures. Support faculty and staff hiring and onboarding, ensuring compliance with accreditor requirements. Develop and implement the academic calendar in collaboration with the Provost. Maintain personnel records, digital/paper files, and Academic Affairs webpages. Prepare purchase orders, travel authorizations, and meeting minutes. Coordinate with Human Resources to prepare offer/reappointment letters and deliver New Faculty Orientation. Contribute to special event planning and successful program implementation.
