Job Summary 
The Administrative Secretary position in the College of Arts and Sciences, Dean’s Office is responsible for providing secretarial support to the College Dean, including scheduling and coordinating meetings and events, providing budgetary assistance, processing and routing paperwork, drafting correspondence, maintaining files and assisting with travel arrangements; greeting and assisting students, faculty, staff and visitors; working with students and faculty, and performing general office, administrative, and secretarial tasks.

Minimum Qualifications 
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Minimum of two years of related work experience
3. Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Outlook Calendar, and PowerPoint
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
5. Excellent organizational skills
6. Ability to work individually and with administrators, faculty and staff

Preferred Qualifications 
1. Some college coursework
2. Knowledge of Datatel
