| Preferred Qualifications | Knowledge and familiarity of USC. Background experience in admissions, customer service, marketing, sales, public relations, or another student personnel area. Preference will be given to those who currently live in counties located in Philadelphia, PA or Camden, Gloucester, Burlington counties in New Jersey and have knowledge of the local secondary schools |
| Knowledge/Skills/Abilities | Must relate well to people, have an engaging personality, and be able to speak with confidence in front of groups. • Must have exceptional customer service skills to ensure positive, brand-promoting interactions with prospective students/families, guidance counselors, and other constituents. • Knowledge of secondary and postsecondary school systems desired. • Must be able to read and evaluate academic credentials as well as market data for assigned territory. • Must be able to operate a personal computer. • Must be able to make public presentations to groups, counsel individuals, and maintain confidentiality of student credentials. • Will be required to organize special programs and travel to recruitment territory independently. • Must have reliable transportation. • Must have strong writing skills. • This position requires extensive travel and seasonal overtime. |
| Job Duty | Develop, plan, and implement admissions recruitment activities within assigned territory. This includes, but is not limited to, attendance at college fairs, high school visits, workshops, panels, and other recruitment events. Enter all recruitment plans, student inquiries, and assessment into Slate by set deadlines. Complete all purchasing, travel, HR, and paperwork in compliance with University and office policy. |
