Agile Project Manager-IT Full Description

Stanbridge University is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Agile Project Manager to join our dynamic technology team. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a passion for delivering high-quality digital solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
As an Agile Project Manager, you will work closely with Software Developers, Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and Business Stakeholders to deliver multiple technology projects — with a primary focus on our Learning Management System (LMS) initiative. You’ll also engage with external vendors and partners to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and quality outcomes across all project touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across multiple initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
  • Drive roadmap discovery, planning, and execution, ensuring project goals are aligned with business objectives.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming, etc.) to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with Product Managers to define and prioritize project requirements, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Oversee ClickUp-based project management processes, maintaining visibility into timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
  • Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Development teams to manage releases and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to manage integrations, deliverables, and overall project quality.
  • Track project performance using appropriate metrics, tools, and techniques; report regularly to stakeholders on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Identify and proactively resolve issues that may impact project scope, budget, or timelines.
  • Champion a “can-do” culture that encourages ownership, accountability, and innovation across the team.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in software or technology-driven environments.
  • Proven experience managing Agile software projects (Scrum, Kanban) and exposure to Waterfall or hybrid models.
  • Experience delivering LMS (Learning Management Systems) or enterprise-level SaaS projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, roadmap development, and backlog management.
  • Hands-on experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills — able to bridge business and technical teams.
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and offshore development teams.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, or equivalent Agile certifications are a plus.
