Description  | Reporting to the Associate Director of Admission Operations, the Assistant Director will support undergraduate and graduate admissions operations through data management, reporting, customer relationship management (CRM) support, and the maintenance of prospective student and applicant records.

Candidates must be willing and able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association, and the NCAA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Creates, maintains, and supports a variety of reports, queries, and processes in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to support admissions operations. Supports the creation and timely import/export of various data entry loads; edits large data sets to ensure accuracy on upload; uploads information on a daily basis to/from customer relationship management, student information systems, and other external sources supporting undergraduate and graduate admissions operations. Consolidates duplicate records, retrieves and evaluates applicant documents, transcripts, and test scores supporting undergraduate and graduate admissions operations. Reviews and evaluates records to ensure data integrity within systems supporting undergraduate and graduate admissions. Extended hours are required in support of daily production, special projects, events, and deadlines. 
Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree required. 2-3 years of related experience. Must be able to prioritize daily assignments while handling ad hoc projects and interaction with different levels of management. Must be proficient in Microsoft access and excel. This position requires a flexible work schedule, including early mornings, late evenings and/or occasional weekends to support extended student services.
Preferred Qualifications  | Familiarity with student information/customer relationship management systems, including Technolutions Slate CRM and Ellucian Banner.

Hofstra University provides the above salary* as a good faith estimate of the starting pay range which considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and education.
