Job Summary/Basic Function: | The Assistant Director, Recruitment and College Credit Plus (CCP), supports the Lake Campus’s strategic enrollment goals by leading recruitment initiatives and managing CCP partnerships. This position develops and implements data-informed recruitment strategies, strengthens relationships with high schools and community partners, and ensures equitable access to higher education opportunities for traditional, transfer, and dual enrollment students. The Assistant Director collaborates to create seamless pathways from high school to degree completion while promoting a student-centered and service-oriented approach to enrollment.
Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field. Ability to leverage data to make strategic decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. High level of customer service.
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s degree and 2 years of experience in recruitment, admissions, or a related field. Experience with CRM
Essential Functions and percent of time: | Recruitment and Outreach Leadership (35%)
Provide leadership and strategic coordination for recruitment and enrollment initiatives, ensuring alignment between Lake Campus goals and the work of the Enrollment Services Advisors. Collaborate with Enrollment Services Advisors to plan and evaluate high school recruitment activities, ensuring consistent messaging, effective follow-up, and a seamless prospective student experience. Develop and implement data-informed recruitment strategies that strengthen local and regional pipelines for first-time, transfer, and College Credit Plus (CCP) students.· Analyze recruitment outcomes, identify emerging trends, and recommend strategies to improve yield and conversion. Represent the campus at select events, college fairs, and community partnership meetings to build visibility and support enrollment growth. Build and sustain strong relationships with high schools, community organizations, and educational partners to enhance recruitment and dual enrollment participation. Coordinate on-campus visit programs, yield events, and communications in collaboration with Enrollment Services Advisors and campus stakeholders to foster engagement and connection.
College Credit Plus (CCP) Coordination (30%)
Serve as the primary Lake Campus contact for all CCP initiatives, providing leadership and coordination in partnership with the CCP Advisor. Collaborate closely with the CCP Advisor to ensure a seamless experience for students, families, and high school partners, from initial inquiry and application through course enrollment and completion. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with area high schools, superintendents, and school counselors to promote participation and strengthen the dual enrollment pipeline. Coordinate with the Associate Dean and CCP Advisor to align course offerings with district needs, faculty availability, and strategic enrollment goals. Support the planning and execution of information sessions, counselor workshops, and orientation programs to enhance understanding of CCP policies and opportunities. Oversee communication strategies, onboarding, and enrollment processes for CCP participants, ensuring timely, accurate, and student-centered interactions. Monitor compliance with state and university policies related to eligibility, admissions, and reporting; assist in developing procedures and documentation to maintain program integrity. Collect and analyze data on enrollment trends, retention, and outcomes to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions and percent of time (cont'd): | Enrollment and Data Management (20%)
Utilize CRM (Slate) and student information systems (Banner) to track recruitment, application, and enrollment activity. Create and analyze reports to measure progress toward enrollment goals and identify areas for improvement. Coordinate with Dayton campus enrollment management and marketing teams to ensure consistent data integrity and messaging. Develop process documentation, communication plans, and staff training materials.
Collaboration, Communication, and Partnerships (10%) Work closely with the Dayton campus enrollment management and marketing teams to develop coordinated strategies, materials, and campaigns that promote Lake Campus programs, highlight CCP opportunities, and strengthen regional brand awareness. Partner with Dayton campus counterparts to share data, best practices, and updates related to recruitment, technology systems (e.g., Slate, Banner), and CCP processes. Participate in Lake Campus and university-wide committees focused on enrollment, student success, and strategic planning initiatives. Represent Lake Campus in meetings, workgroups, and collaborative initiatives to advance shared enrollment priorities. Provide exceptional customer service to prospective students, families, and school partners through timely communication, accurate information, and a commitment to access and success.
