Posting Context Statement | Under the direction of the Director of Tickets & Revenue Generation and the Assistant Athletic Director for Brand Engagement & Digital Strategy, this position develops and directs the marketing and ticket sales campaigns for athletic events. This position is responsible for generating revenue through the performance of ticket sales. Expectations include developing relationships with new donors as well as successfully developing existing patrons. Duties include advertising and promoting ticketed events, managing student employees and representing the Athletics Department and the University.

Required Experience | Two years of ticket operations, sales and/or customer service experience which includes two or more of the following:Hiring, training, supervising and managing staff Impementing pricing strategies and marketing trends Managaing and operating computerized ticketing systems and software Office administration, data management and records analysis Interpreting policies, resolving problems independently and ensuring customer satisfaction Premium seating and group sales customer relations
Required Education | Bachelor’s Degree; four years of additional experience (for a total of six years) may substitute for a Bachelor’s Degree
Required Other | Ability to work nonstandard hours which may include nights, weekends and some holidays Ability to travel Ability to work additional hours to meet business needs, which may be over 40 hours per week
Additional Preferred | Master’s Degree Experience within and understanding of the collegiate ticket market as it relates to donor-based systems Working with Photoshop and other graphic design programs Experience creating and managing web-based content Experience applying and interpreting University of Idaho and NCAA policies and procedures Experience utilizing Paciolan ticketing software, PAC Mail or other E-commerce marketing software Knowledge of priority point or donor-based system (CRM)
