Residency Requirements: This position is virtual and strongly prefer residents of Texas. May consider residents of surrounding states (NM, OK, AR or LA). This position could include travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face professional development, student testing, and/or as required by the school.
The Lead School Based Enrollment Coordinator supervises the team of School Based Enrollment Coordinators and verifies compliance documentation related to enrollment and re-enrollment. The role supports activities related to student records and student information systems management for both internal and district partners. This position acts as the role advocate with the national enrollment team and partner district(s).

This is a full-time position. Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week is required. Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday, typically 9-5 (or 8-4) or as defined by the school.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
- Manage the team of School Based Enrollment Coordinators to ensure each is following the rules outlined by the district and/or state.
- Work with School Operations Managers to understand requirements of each district and stipulations for enrollment at each school.
- Develop relationships with district partners and attend meetings with each district.
- Manage student enrollment and re-enrollment process, ensuring compliance with District/State enrollment requirements. This includes ensuring proper enrollment documents are collected per current District/State requirements;
- Serve as conduit between national enrollment team and reporting district to ensure students enrollments meet current State/District requirements;
- Serve as point of contact on enrollment issues for students, prospective students, parents, administrative personnel, and reporting agencies;
- Assist with internal auditing to identify and correct outstanding enrollment issues/items;
- Assist with student retention efforts including: Seeking appropriate assistance within the school for struggling students/parents; Providing outreach to withdrawing students to see where we may be able to help and thus retain them;
- Handle enrollment issues escalated by Registrars.
- Manage Fitness Gram, health screenings, McKinney Vento process, DAEP, migrant and military, home language surveys, and laptop orders;
- Assists with attendance calls during state testing;
- Assists with re-registration document collection.
- Performs all duties compliant with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) years of related professional experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively train/mentor others
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to communicate professionally with tact/civility
- Customer service-orientation
- Detail-oriented, able to identify errors in data and information
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks quickly and accurately
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, procedures, and assigned tasks
- Willingness to be a team player and help others when needed
- Ability to effectively use Internet search engines, and enter and retrieve information from databases
- Intermediate proficiency in Office 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), Google or similar applications
- Willingness to obtain special licenses or certificates such as Notary
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to clear required background check
