Position Overview | Processes domestic and international graduate admission applications by: Compiling documentation, including academic and personal information Evaluating academic records and supporting documentation to prepare files for departmental admission approval or denial Assigning appropriate decision Assisting telephone and walk-in client contacts Providing research necessary in support of administrative decision making Providing guidance and assistance regarding program rules, requirements and regulations to office and graduate program staff and prospective applicants Reviewing eligibility for issuance of immigration documents Functioning as part of the overall COGS admission and student support team

Required Experience | Compiling and analyzing information from electronic sources Using computer software and applications for word processing, email, internet searches, and data organization
Required Education | High School diploma or equivalent
Required Other | Eligible to serve as a designated School Official
Additional Preferred | Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, humanities or STEMExperience evaluating domestic and international transcripts and credentials. Experience with SEVISExperience working in an admissions office Experience with Student Record System and/or electronic application system Experience with prestigious scholarship programs i.e. Fulbright Experience with AACRO, NAFSA, NAGAP or other professional admissions associations Experience working cooperatively as a part of a team including students, faculty, staff, and administrators
