ROLE TITLE: Associate, Content Designer (Temporary)
POSITION REPORTS TO: Director, Strategic Initiatives- TFA Nashville Chattanooga

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Content Designers are responsible for creating the arcs of learning, facilitation guides, and facilitation materials for the Professional Learning Communities within the Teach for America (TFA) Nashville-Chattanooga Educator Prep Programs (EPP).
WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Review and strengthen the Program or Study/Arcs of Learning
- Designing approximately 14 professional development sessions (Summits and Learning Circles).
- Consulting with TFA staff about session content and outcomes
- Ensuring all sessions align with specific content, literacy, and state standards

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 3 years of successful teaching experience
- At least 2 years working with novice teachers in a facilitation, development, coaching, or support role, specifically focused on their instructional practice
- Strong knowledge and understanding of instructional practice in your content area, as well as a commitment to developing a nuanced and rigorous understanding of how the instructional practice lives out in the Pre-Service context
- Strong personal commitment to Culturally Relevant Pedagogy as the key framework through which we think about classroom teaching
- Demonstrated commitment to engaging in personal reflection, giving and receiving feedback, and identifying and responding to trends
- Adeptness with Zoom and other virtual platforms
- Ability to work occasional weekend or evening work hours is required

COMPENSATION
We anticipate the Content Designers will work 8-10 hours per week. The duration of this role is from March 2026 to May 2026. Compensation for Teach for America positions is determined based on role responsibilities.
Hourly Rate: $25.68
