The Role: Data Product Associates sit within the Data Products team, part of the Data & Analytics (DNA) group, which operates under the Digital Services division. This role reports into Business Intelligence Manager.
Data Product Associates contribute to large-scale analytical initiatives that involve data modeling and visualization, primarily using Power BI. They are engaged throughout the entire lifecycle of data projects—from initial scoping and exploratory analysis to productionalization, presentation, and ongoing maintenance.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the business to design and deliver effective reporting solutions that meet strategic and operational needs.
The role is based in Soho, NY, and requires being in the office three days per week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain semantic data models in Power BI
- Design and build effective report interfaces
- Assist with data quality checks and troubleshooting
- Support stakeholder communications and reporting preparation
- Explore and apply new Power BI features and techniques

Qualifications
HOW YOU CAN FIT (Qualifications)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiar with a self-service data visualization tool, preferably Power BI
- Basic understanding of data modeling concepts – tables, relationships, and basic model design
- SQL skills for purposes of data extraction, transformation, cleaning and analysis
- Problem-solving ability, logical reasoning, creative thinking and quantitative aptitude
- Strong Excel skills in analysis and charting
Preferred (but not required) Skills and Knowledge:
- Redshift/ SQL Server database experience
- Working with SQL for data wrangling or analysis
Experience:
- 0–1 years of experience working with reporting or data visualization tools, preferably Power BI (internships, academic projects, or self-directed learning acceptable)
- Exposure to data analysis, visualization, or reporting through coursework, capstone projects, internships, or freelance work
Education: Undergraduate/Graduate degree in business administration, finance, computer science, math, statistics, engineering or other quantitative discipline
