This role leads programmatic functions of Residence Life, overseeing the Bobcat Living Experience, collaborating with academic and campus partners, managing commuter and off-campus strategies, and enhancing student community connections. The position also develops tools to assess student experiences and coordinates key university events and initiatives.

Highlights

  • Oversee Bobcat Living Experience curriculum and departmental programming plan for resident engagement
  • Manage First Seven Weeks programs and HRL Signature Events including Welcome Week and Homecoming
  • Collaborate with academic partners to create Experiential Living Opportunities and serve as contact for Executive in Residence program
  • Lead commuter and off-campus student programming, liaison with city and local community partners
  • Oversee Bobcat Student Orientation housing and represent HRL on multiple committees
  • Create assessment tools for all areas of oversight and participate in on-call rotation
  • Requires Master’s Degree in College Student Personnel, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or related field
  • Minimum 6 years work experience including 3 years management
  • Full-time administrative role within Housing department under Vice President for Student Affairs
