Job Description
The position is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, performance tuning, and capacity management for all organizational systems as directed by management and senior staff. This position will provide 1st tier level support.
 
 Responsibilities
  • Designs, installs, configure supports, optimize and administer server and/or network systems and applications.
  • Assists with the analysis of project needs/requirements and recommends solutions to enable enterprise integration.
  • Assists with developing and implementing systems and/or network standards, processes, and security.
  • Communicates with vendors to obtain configurations and best practice recommendations.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves help desk tickets as assigned.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities for after hours support, as required.
  • Attends vendor training/conferences and presentations for continuing skills development.
  • Occasional travel to a variety of institutional locations.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Networking, Required or related field, Required or equivalent industry experience Required.
  • 3+ years years of progressive relevant industry experience Required.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a variety of institutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Desire to grow knowledge and skill set through on-the-job training, formal classroom training, and independent research.
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.9 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
