Description of Work  | Provide leadership and counsel for the Nebraska Alumni Association in the general areas of business and financial operations. Oversee strategic direction, teams and individual staff members involved in the venues operation, Nebraska Champions Club operation, and capital improvements. Provide general support for and assist with the association’s advancement and engagement initiatives. This position shall serve as an official representative of the alumni association and ambassador for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and will provide leadership for the NAA staff through exemplary professionalism, work ethic and thought leadership.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, marketing/advertising or related field plus 5 years of experience in operations and/or organizational leadership required. Experience preparing/overseeing budgets and financial statements required. Must have experience leading teams. Demonstrated familiarity with business issues that typically face not-for-profit or educational organizations essential. Strong communications and relationship-building skills required. Familiarization with basic accounting and reporting standards necessary. Must be detail-oriented. Ability to work independently necessary. Must have the ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information/data.
Preferred Qualifications  | Master’s degree in business, management, finance, marketing/advertising or related field preferred. Supervision experience desirable. Experience in fundraising or marketing helpful.
