Position Summary
The AoPS Academy Campus Director at our Morrisville campus is responsible for leading daily operations, people management, and teaching select weekly math/language arts classes. The Campus Director has proven leadership in a dynamic fast-paced setting and a strong background in education. This role is full-time, year-round position which includes the academic year and summer.

Job duties
- Lead the day-to-day logistical operations of running a campus
- Drive student enrollments to meet business objectives through creative approaches
- Evaluate and coach associate directors and part-time teachers
- Hire, train, and manage instructors and campus staff
- Strategically forecast budgets, staffing needs, student enrollments, and class schedules
- Regularly meet with current and prospective families in-person and virtually
- Teach weekly classes utilizing lesson plans developed by our AoPS curriculum team.
- Build community partnerships and attend outreach events to increase awareness of AoPS in the community and plan engaging educational events at the campus.
Preferred/Required Skills and Experience
- Strong leadership and supervisory experience with demonstrated skill in effectively hiring, training, managing, coaching, and evaluating diverse teams of employees.
- Experience supervising other managers is preferred.
- Experience managing in an educational environment is preferred.
- Marketing, recruitment, or community engagement experience preferred.
- Teaching experience required; primary/secondary experience preferred.
- Math and/or Language Arts subject-matter expert with the ability to teach advanced students in grades 2-12 preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
Work Schedule
AoPS Academy is an after-school program; most of our classes and family meetings occur during the evenings and on weekends. As such, it's expected that Directors work a nontraditional schedule during the academic year. Summer hours typically shift to a more standard Monday to Friday work schedule.
