Physical Requirements  | Some lifting (50 lbs or less), office and some outdoor work in variable climates.
Shift  | Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and beyond 5:00 pm with evenings and weekends (required game attendance for marketing purposes).
Job Summary  | The Assistant Director of Marketing in conjunction with coaching staff and athletic personnel, will develop a comprehensive marketing plan for assigned sports, including oversight of media buys, creation of radio, print, television and social media content; utilize budgeted resources to enhance attendance at home sporting events for assigned sports; build relationships with community leaders through e-mail, phone, and in-person meetings conducting group sales, rights holder & sponsor fulfillment.
The Assistant Director of Marketing may also assist with the home game fan experience at football, special events & men’s & women’s basketball preparing game scripts, assisting with promotions, music, & special presentations. The position will assist in oversight of undergraduate student workers during home games for assigned sports fostering an environment of teamwork and collaboration.


Must be able to comply with all SEC, University and NCAA rules and regulations.
